World Religions Chart
My students are in the process of completing a chart on the 10 World Religions. They have to cover 8 characteristics and make a connection to how it affects the world today. They are very excited about the activity and are making great progress! I used the Flip video recorder and sent it in to SURN to share with others. Its a great activity!

Wonderful! That is exciting. I just wrapped up an extensive activity with world religions. My students gathered information from a variety of sources, worked in groups and with partners, and created visual review materials for the major religions. Then for an authentic assessment item, they read quotes from the sacred writings of each religion and wrote about the similarities and differences. Their work was impressive. I am really loving my life with my students this year as they discover so much about the past that connects to their lives.
